Cancellation Procedures

VERNON REGIONAL ADULT BASED EDUCATION (VRABE)
CANCELLATION PROCEDURES IN CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER

If Vernon Public Schools are cancelled or dismissed early, evening classes are cancelled at ALL SITES.

In general, if day school is cancelled or dismissed early (at your particular site), evening classes are also cancelled.

If there is a delayed opening for Vernon Public Schools, A.M. classes will be cancelled at morning sites.* P.M. classes will still take place that evening.

School cancellations, late openings, and early dismissals will be broadcast on television stations WFSB-TV Channel 3 and WVIT-TV Channel 30, across the bottom of the screen (cancellation will be listed as VERNON REGIONAL ADULT EDUCATION).

Students attending Adult Education classes at Rockville High School, or staff teaching at RHS, may also call 860-870-6060 ext. 3 for updates regarding cancellation of classes.

* MORNING SITES:

MCC – GED (Monday / Wednesday)

Rockville Learning Center – GED (Monday / Wednesday)

Rockville Learning Center – ESL (Tuesday / Thursday / Friday) – ONLY 9:00 a.m. class cancelled.

Mansfield Library – ESL (Tuesday / Thursday)
