Vernon Regional Adult Based Education

Serves 14 towns east of Hartford, CT. Our programming offers a variety of opportunities for adults age 17 and over to obtain and enhance their education and career growth.

Vernon Continuing Education

Provides a large selection of fee-based enrichment classes for the adult community. We welcome you to our site and hope you will explore the many opportunities Vernon Regional Adult Based Education provides to adults to meet their individual interests. We are here for your “lifelong learning" needs.

Spring 2012 Catalog – Registration for Spring Continuing Education classes will begin February 2nd.

View Orientation Schedule and Register Now

Mandatory Orientation Requirement:

New students must attend an orientation session before being admitted into high school completion classes, including CDP, GED and NEDP.

  • Click on the blue box above to register for an orientation session.
  • Write down your orientation date since no reminders will be sent to you.
  • Arrive 5 - 10 minutes before the start of the orientation.

CDP Classes:

Second trimester for Credit Diploma Program (CDP) will begin December 5, 2011 (orientation required for NEW students). 

GED Classes:

Second semester for General Educational Diploma (GED) classes will begin the week of January 9, 2012 (orientation required for NEW students).

ESL Classes:

Second semester for English as a Second Language (ESL) classes will begin the week of January 17, 2012 (NO orientation required). Registration is done the first night of class, and students must bring their I.D. the first night of class.
